HP Public Cloud Integration

How to Integrate HP Public Cloud with ECmanaged

This guide will walk you through the steps you need to perform to integrate HP Public Cloud to ECmanaged. First, you need to collect HP Public Cloud API credentials and then provide it to ECmanaged for integration.

Step 1: Getting HP Public Cloud Credentials

You need to provide username, password, and Project Name to add HP Public Cloud as a cloud provider in ECmanaged. These information are available from HP Public Cloud dashboard. You can find Project Name under Identity > Projects as shown in the figure below:

Step 2: Integrating HP Public Cloud Credentials

First, you need to login to the ECmanaged and go to the Add a Cloud Provider wizard either using the new server drop-down menu or using Preferences > My Cloud Providers.

In the Add a Cloud provider wizard, you choose Public Cloud as Cloud Type, HPCLOUD as Cloud Provider, and in Select region menu select the preferred region. Then click Next.

In the next window, you should choose a Provider Name, which is by default HPCLOUD. You need to put your HP Public Cloud username as API User, and the user password as API KEY and Project Name as Tenant name.

Then you click Next, if everything is correct, ECmanaged will be connected to the HP Public Cloud. The figure below shows the output of a successful HP Public Cloud provider addition.
